Remembrance Sunday

Today in Leyton and Wanstead, we remembered the sacrifices that others made so that we may be free.

I attended five of our local Remembrance events, which were very powerful, particularly given the small number of veterans of the Second World War who remain to us. It was truly moving to see so many of our young people from all backgrounds participating in these events, including as part of our armed forces Cadet and Scouting Movement groups.
