This week's meeting of the Armed Forces Community APPG focused on the challenges of the many service people, families and veterans who don’t hold a UK passport.
We heard from experts from Anglia Ruskin University and RAND Europe about a number of issues that colleagues across party lines agree need significant consideration, particularly as we move towards the implementation of the Armed Forces Covenant into law.
This is an essential opportunity to argue for long-needed change, with thanks due to the Royal British Legion for supporting the work of the APPG. All of those who put life and limb at risk to protect us deserve to be honoured and fairly rewarded.
